Jennifer is best known for her luminous large-format transparent watercolors. She explores and utilizes organic shapes entering the visual conversation with mystery and beauty. Working lightest to darkest, colors are floated onto a wet surface. This process produces wonderfully complex and luminous color. Many paintings will have 20 or more layers upon completion. Jennifer lives and works in Northern New Mexico.
Maya is most comfortable with her hands in the clay and soil. She creates unique detailed handmade stoneware pottery. She is interested in the ways art, poetry, and farming can heal our ecological and social soils. Maya lives in Ohio.
Original watercolor paintings of New Mexico landscapes by Scottish artist, Tom Kellie (1933-2012). While a medical student at Glasgow University, he attended classes at the renowned Glasgow School of Art. He painted many locales especially around the Jemez Mountains and Ghost Ranch. He participated in the La Cienega Studio Tour each year until moving to Fort Worth in 2007. He was made a signature member of the Fort Worth Society of Watercolor Artists in 2009.
